Ingredients
  

Steak and Rice
  • 1 lb Flank Steak or any preferred cut
  • 2 cups Cooked Rice white or brown
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce for marinating
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil for flavor
  • 1 cup Mixed Vegetables such as bell peppers, carrots, and broccoli
  • 2 tablespoons Green Onions chopped for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds for garnish
Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger minced

Method
 

Prepare the Steak
  1. Marinate the flank steak in soy sauce and sesame oil for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
  3. Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing it thinly against the grain.
Cook the Rice and Vegetables
  1. Prepare the rice according to package instructions.
  2. In a separate pan, saut? mixed vegetables until tender, about 5 minutes.
Make the Sauce
  1. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, garlic, and ginger.
Assemble the Bowl
  1. In a bowl, layer cooked rice, saut?ed vegetables, and sliced steak.
  2. Drizzle the sauce over the top and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
