Ingredients
  

Salsa Ingredients
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple, diced use ripe pineapple for best flavor
  • 1 medium habanero pepper, finely chopped remove seeds for less heat
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 lime juiced fresh lime juice preferred
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Method
 

Prepare the Ingredients
  1. Dice the fresh pineapple into small pieces and place in a mixing bowl.
  2. Finely chop the habanero pepper, red onion, and cilantro, then add to the bowl.
  3. Juice the lime and add the juice to the mixing bowl.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper, then mix all ingredients thoroughly.
Serve
  1. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos.
