Ingredients
  

Kofta Meatballs
  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh mint, chopped
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
Tzatziki Sauce
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 small cucumber, grated and drained
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Method
 

Prepare the Kofta
  1. Preheat the oven to 400?F (200?C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground lamb, onion, garlic, parsley, mint, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, pepper, egg, and bread crumbs.
  3. Mix until well combined and form into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes or until cooked through.
Make the Tzatziki
  1. In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic, dill, lemon juice, and salt.
  2. Mix well and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Serve
  1. Serve the lamb kofta meatballs hot with tzatziki sauce on the side.

Notes
