Ingredients
  

For the Marinade
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 lemon juiced
For the Skewers
  • 1.5 pounds lamb shoulder or leg, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 bell pepper cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 red onion cut into 1-inch pieces

Method
 

Marinate the Lamb
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, cumin, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Mix well.
  2. Add the lamb cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best flavor.
Prepare the Skewers
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Thread the marinated lamb, bell pepper, and red onion onto the skewers, alternating between the ingredients.
Grill the Skewers
  1. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the lamb is cooked to your desired doneness.
  2. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
