Ingredients
  

Brownie Base
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
Topping
  • 1 cup mini chocolate eggs crushed or whole

Method
 

Prepare the Brownie Batter
  1. Preheat the oven to 350?F (175?C) and grease the baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter and sugar, whisking until smooth.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. In another bowl, sift together cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
Bake the Brownies
  1. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  3. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle mini chocolate eggs on top while the brownies are still warm.
  5. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
