Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 1 package pie crust store-bought or homemade
Filling
  • 1 cup diced ham cooked
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or Swiss
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

Method
 

Prepare the crust
  1. Preheat the oven to 375?F (190?C). Place the pie crust in the pie dish and prick the bottom with a fork.
Make the filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, black pepper, and thyme until well combined.
  2. Stir in the diced ham and shredded cheese.
Assemble and bake
  1. Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the quiche is set and lightly golden on top.
  3. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
