Ingredients
  

Cocktail Base
  • 2 cups cucumber, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 cup tequila preferably silver
  • 1/2 cup orange liqueur such as Cointreau or Triple Sec
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup adjust to taste
  • 1 cup ice for shaking
Garnish
  • 4 slices cucumber for garnish
  • 4 slices lime for garnish
  • coarse salt for rimming glasses

Method
 

Prepare the Glasses
  1. Rim the glasses with lime juice and dip them in coarse salt to coat the edges.
Mix the Ingredients
  1. In a shaker, muddle the cucumber pieces until they are well crushed.
  2. Add the lime juice, tequila, orange liqueur, simple syrup, and ice to the shaker.
  3. Shake well until the mixture is chilled.
Serve
  1. Strain the mixture into the prepared glasses filled with ice.
  2. Garnish with cucumber and lime slices.

Notes

For a sweeter drink, increase the amount of simple syrup. You can also blend the ingredients for a frozen version.
