Ingredients
  

Ribs
  • 2 pounds pork ribs baby back or spare ribs
Sauce
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce your favorite brand
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar for tanginess
  • 1 tablespoon honey for sweetness
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Prepare the Ribs
  1. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor absorption.
  2. Season the ribs with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
Make the Sauce
  1. In a bowl, mix together the barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, honey, and additional spices.
Cook the Ribs
  1. Place the seasoned ribs in the crockpot and pour the sauce over them.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours until the ribs are tender.
Serve
  1. Remove the ribs from the crockpot and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
  2. Serve with extra barbecue sauce on the side.
