Ingredients
  

Fudge Base
  • 1 cup pitted dates soaked in warm water for 10 minutes
  • 1/2 cup raw almonds or any nut of choice
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
Toppings (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped nuts for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa nibs for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Fudge
  1. In a food processor, combine the soaked dates, almonds, cocoa powder, melted dark chocolate, vanilla extract, and sea salt. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Line a baking dish with parchment paper. Transfer the fudge mixture into the dish and press it down evenly.
  3. Sprinkle chopped nuts and cocoa nibs on top if desired.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set before cutting into squares.
