Ingredients
  

Oats Base
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups milk can use almond milk or any milk of choice
  • 1 large egg or flax egg for vegan option
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Chocolate Berry Swirl
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup mixed berries fresh or frozen
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips optional

Method
 

Prepare the Oven and Dish
  1. Preheat the oven to 350?F (175?C) and grease a baking dish.
Mix the Oats Base
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, milk, egg, baking powder, vanilla extract, maple syrup, and salt. Mix well until combined.
Prepare the Chocolate Berry Swirl
  1. In a separate bowl, mix cocoa powder with a little water to create a smooth paste.
  2. Gently fold in the mixed berries into the oats mixture.
Combine and Bake
  1. Pour the oats mixture into the greased baking dish. Swirl the chocolate paste through the oats mixture using a spatula. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top if desired.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until set.
Serve
  1. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!
