  • 1 tbsp Ginger Freshly grated
For the Broccoli
  • 2 cups Fresh broccoli florets Vibrant and crunchy

For the Teriyaki Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar Creates caramelized sweetness
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch Used as a thickening agent

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slice the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces for even cooking.
  2. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, mirin, and ginger. Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Steam the broccoli florets until vibrant green and tender-crisp, about 4-5 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and saut? the marinated chicken for 6-7 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry and stir it into the remaining marinade in the pan; simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  3. Combine the steamed broccoli with the chicken and sauce in the skillet, tossing to coat.
Serving
  1. Garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
