Ingredients
  

Crust and Topping
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Cherry Filling
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen cherries pitted and halved
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Method
 

Prepare the Crust
  1. Preheat the oven to 350?F (175?C). Grease the baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, melted butter, salt, and cinnamon. Mix until crumbly.
  3. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking pan to form the crust.
Make the Cherry Filling
  1. In a separate bowl, combine cherries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Mix well.
  2. Spread the cherry mixture evenly over the crust in the baking pan.
Add Topping and Bake
  1. Sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture over the cherry filling.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.
  3. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.

Notes
