  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips semi-sweet

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350?F (175?C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter, beaten egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and brown sugar.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into a greased cast-iron skillet.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  3. Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
