Ingredients
  

Batter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk whole or 2%
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar granulated
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Filling
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries or frozen, thawed
Topping
  • powdered sugar for dusting optional

Method
 

Prepare the Batter
  1. Preheat the oven to 350?F (175?C). Grease a baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, ground cardamom, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
  3. Gradually add the flour, whisking until smooth and lump-free.
Assemble and Bake
  1. Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking dish.
  2. Evenly distribute the blueberries over the batter.
  3. Pour the remaining batter over the blueberries.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the clafoutis is puffed and golden brown.
Serve
  1. Let the clafoutis cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar and serving warm.
