  • 4 cups water
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice

Instructions

  2. Remove from heat and add 1 cup dried hibiscus flowers. Let steep for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Strain the mixture into a pitcher using a fine-mesh sieve, discarding the flowers.
  4. While still warm, stir in 1/2 cup sugar until dissolved.
  5. Add 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice and mix well.
  6. Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least one hour before serving over ice.
