Instructions
- 1. Preheat oven to 350?F (175?C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- 2. In a bowl, cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and mix in vanilla extract.
- 3. In another bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the butter mixture until just combined.
- 4. Scoop dough onto prepared sheets about two inches apart and press chocolate chips into each mound.
- 5. Bake for 10-12 minutes until slightly underbaked. Let cool slightly.
- 6. For ganache: Heat heavy cream until simmering, then stir in chocolate chips until smooth. Use a piping bag to add ganache to cookies.
