- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350?F (175?C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, combine the cherries with 1/4 cup of sugar and let them sit for 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix the flour, oats, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Press half of the crumble mixture into the prepared pan. Layer the cherry filling over it and top with the remaining crumble.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool before slicing.
