  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (fresh or dried)
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, salt, and pepper until just combined. Form into four patties.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and brown the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side. Remove from the skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, saut? sliced mushrooms until softened (around 5 minutes). Add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce; bring to a simmer.
  4. Return the patties to the skillet and let them simmer in the gravy for about 10 minutes until cooked through.
