  • 2 cups Italian breadcrumbs
  • 2 cups vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Unwrap mozzarella sticks and cut them in half for shorter bites.
  2. Set up three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs (seasoned with salt and pepper), and one with breadcrumbs mixed with grated Parmesan.
  3. Coat each cheese stick in flour, dip into the egg mixture, then roll in breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  4. Freeze the breaded sticks on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 30 minutes.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot to 350?F (175?C).
  6. Fry mozzarella sticks in batches for about 2 minutes per side until golden brown; drain on paper towels.
