- 2 cups heavy cream
- 3 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375?F (190?C) and lightly grease a baking dish with nonstick spray or butter.
- Thinly slice the potatoes (about 1/8 inch thick) using a mandoline or sharp knife.
- In a bowl, whisk together heavy cream, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and nutmeg until blended.
- Layer half of the potato slices in the baking dish. Pour half of the cream mixture over the potatoes and sprinkle with half of the Gruy?re cheese. Repeat layering with remaining ingredients.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking for an additional 20-30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
