Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 6 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 4 slices cheddar or American cheese
  • 4 brioche burger buns
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato (sliced)
  • Condiments (ketchup, mustard, or your choice)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grates if using a grill.
  2. In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Form into four equal patties, about one-inch thick.
  3. Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy (about 5 minutes per side). Drain on paper towels.
  4. Grill the burger patties for about 4 minutes per side for medium doneness. Add cheese during the last minute to melt.
  5. Toast brioche buns on the grill. Assemble burgers by layering bun bottom, lettuce, tomato, patty with cheese, bacon, condiments, and bun top.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
