Ingredients

  • 8 oz lump crab meat
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 20 wonton wrappers
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together crab meat, cream cheese, green onions, and garlic powder until well combined.
  2. Place about 1 tsp of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Wet edges with water, fold into a triangle shape, and press firmly to seal.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet to 350?F (175?C). Test readiness by dropping in a small piece of wonton; it should sizzle.
  4. Fry wontons in batches for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  5. Serve warm with sweet chili sauce or soy sauce for dipping.
