  • 2 cups fresh cherries, pitted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup Grand Marnier or brandy
  • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream

Instructions

  1. Wash and pit the fresh cherries.
  2. In a medium skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and stir in the sugar until dissolved.
  3. Add the pitted cherries to the skillet and gently coat them with the buttery mixture.
