  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 10 oz ribeye or sirloin steak
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ? cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Season steak with Cajun seasoning and sear until browned on both sides. Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and saut? until fragrant. Add shrimp seasoned with Cajun spice; cook until pink (about 2 minutes per side).
  4. Pour in heavy cream, lower the heat, and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted. If too thick, adjust consistency with reserved pasta water.
  5. Toss cooked fettuccine with the shrimp and sauce, incorporating sliced steak evenly throughout.
  6. Serve garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
