  • 1 lb beef sirloin (thinly sliced)
  • 1 cup assorted bell peppers (red, green, yellow, sliced)
  • 1 medium yellow onion (sliced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger (grated)
  • ? cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Slice the beef sirloin against the grain into thin strips.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and cornstarch. Add beef strips and marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Saut? bell peppers and onion until tender, about 5 minutes.
  4. Push vegetables aside; add marinated beef to the skillet. Cook until browned, approximately 5 minutes.
  5. Add remaining marinade and brown sugar; stir until combined and cook for another 2 minutes or until thickened.
  6. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
