- 2 lbs parsnips, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 ? cups grated Gruy?re cheese (divided)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter

- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375?F (190?C) and lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a bowl, mix heavy cream, minced garlic, half of the Gruy?re cheese, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
- Layer half the sliced parsnips in the baking dish. Pour half the creamy mixture over them and sprinkle some reserved cheese on top. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil, add remaining cheese, and bake uncovered for an additional 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
