  • 1/3 pot water (enough to steam)
  • 2 tbsp sea salt
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. Fill a large pot with water, add sea salt, and bring it to a rolling boil.
  2. Carefully place the live lobsters headfirst into the boiling water and cover the pot.
  3. Steam the lobsters for about 7-8 minutes per pound until their shells turn bright red.
  4. Use tongs to remove the lobsters and let them drain on paper towels.
  5. Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat for dipping.
  6. Serve the lobsters on a platter with lemon wedges and melted butter.
