- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)
- 1 large egg
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil for saut?ing
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
- Form the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs.
- Set your Instant Pot to saut? mode and add olive oil. Brown half of the meatballs for about 3 minutes on each side. Remove and set aside.
- Pour in the tomato sauce, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the pot for added flavor.
- Return all meatballs to the pot and close the lid securely. Set to high pressure for 8 minutes.
- Once cooking is complete, carefully release pressure according to manufacturer instructions. Serve over rice or with crusty bread.
